Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing Mithaq Ghalidh, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. The scholar workspace is limited to approved scholars and administrators. A candidate may access only their private invitation form using a valid one-time link. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

2. Authorized use

Scholars may use the workspace only to maintain authorized candidate profiles, evaluate potential matches, document decisions, and coordinate appropriate outreach. Candidates may use their invitation only to submit or correct their own information. Everyone must use accurate information, respect recorded consent and sharing restrictions, and follow applicable law and community safeguarding expectations.

3. Confidentiality

Candidate profiles, photographs, contact information, scholar notes, assessments, and match activity are confidential. You may not copy, download, disclose, forward, publish, scrape, or use this information outside the approved facilitation process. You may share profile information with a candidate or potential match only when the recorded consent and workflow permit it.

4. Account security

You are responsible for activity performed through your Google account. Do not share account access or permit another person to use your session. Notify the administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Access may be suspended or removed when necessary to protect candidates, scholars, or the service.

5. Candidate consent and accuracy

Before adding, updating, sharing, or using candidate information, scholars must have an appropriate basis for doing so and must accurately record the candidate's awareness and sharing permissions. AI-assisted or imported information must be reviewed where indicated. Scholars remain responsible for professional judgment and for correcting information known to be incomplete or inaccurate.

6. No guarantee or professional advice

The service organizes information and supports human review; it does not guarantee compatibility, marriage, accuracy of candidate-supplied information, or any particular outcome. Match guidance is not legal, medical, mental-health, financial, or religious advice. Candidates and scholars remain responsible for independent judgment, appropriate inquiry, and consultation with qualified professionals when needed.

7. Prohibited conduct

• Using information for harassment, discrimination, exploitation, commercial solicitation, or any unrelated purpose.
• Attempting to bypass access controls or view information without authorization.
• Entering information you know is false, misleading, unlawfully obtained, or shared without an appropriate basis.
• Contacting candidates or potential matches outside the recorded consent and outreach process.
• Interfering with the security, availability, or integrity of the service.

8. Availability and changes

The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued, and these terms may be updated as the workspace develops. Continued use after revised terms are published constitutes acceptance of those terms.

9. Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the service and its administrators are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the workspace, candidate decisions, communications, or reliance on profile information. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
